I used some resources from Starfall.co.uk to make an online version of the story of the Very Hungry Caterpillar.  Click on the link to read the story.

I couldn’t find any Euro coin programs on the Internet for my class so I developed my own.  It’s a very simple drag and drop program written using Opus Illuminatus. 

Drag the coins into the box and it adds the total coins up.  It’s handy as an interactive whiteboard whole class activity or simply on a normal PC.  You can download it by clicking on the link here: http://www.goreyeducatetogether.ie/file/euro_recog.exe

A new interactive whiteboard resource has been developed by teachers at Gorey Educate Together NS.  Magnetic Letters is a virtual magnetic whiteboard where you can move around virtual magnetic letters to make words or sentences.
