CoderDojo is a wonderful initiative that gives children the opportunity to learn computer programming. It’s now celebrating its first birthday. To celebrate, it is hosting a Dojo in Leinster House in Dublin. James Whelton, the man behind CoderDojo, wants to see a dojo in every parish in the country.     Happy 1st CoderDojo! It’s not really surprising that few years from now, children as young as 7 years old have coding skills that they can enhance as they grow old. The generation today are very fortunate to have this kind of program and exposure to the IT industry.
