Review:Pocket playground and ball games of the week booklets volume 1 by Jenny Mosley

These booklets do exactly what they say on the tin! They fit into your pocket and they are all about games you can teach children on the playground. But, that is the simplicity of these books. They are small so can be brought out on yard easily. They are super easy to pick up, read and start the game going.

They can be easily accessed by any adult on yard, a Special Needs Assistant or teacher or senior class child. Each volume contain games that you probably played when you were little such as stuck in the mud or cat and mouse but also loads of other new ones I had not heard of like skully or Mr. Motion. Some require preparation like laminated cards.

The Pocket Ball Games of the week could be used for yard or in a PE lesson and cover games like Dodge Ball Tag, French Cricket and Captain Ball.

What I like about these booklets and games is the fact that you don’t need many resources to start these games up. A couple of small, big
