Seas Suas is a blog that myself and Nigel Lane (@NL_84) from Irish Teacher Blogs set up a few months ago in order to showcase the amazing work being done in primary schools around the country. Last night we had the fantastic news that the web site had won the Best Group Blog Award in the Blog Awards Ireland, which took place in the Osprey Hotel in Naas.

As I write this article, there are 39 schools on Seas Suas and every week we collect over 100 articles from all around the country. Dublin and Cork are the most represented counties on Anseo with Kilkenny and Mayo close behind. We’d love for every school with a blog to join in Seas Suas and showcase the wonderful work they are doing.

The bigger picture with Seas Suas is that we hope the media take an interest in some of the great things going on in schools and they will be able to use the web site to find positive news stories about primary schools.
