Thanks to my friend, Derek Coyle, for sending me this. Most primary school teachers will relate to the frustration of trying to help children differentiate words like “to”, “too” and “two” or “they’re”, “there” or “their.” I would hope it isn’t just me who cringes when I see a Facebook status update, where the word “your” is used instead of “you’re”, as it often is in those inspirational photo memes… and don’t talk to me about apostrophes!
