Sunday Fun: Reasons why English is hard

Thanks to my friend, Derek Coyle, for sending me this. Most primary school teachers will relate to the frustration of trying to help children differentiate words like “to”, “too” and “two” or “they’re”, “there” or “their.” I would hope it isn’t just me who cringes when I see a Facebook status update, where the word “your” is used instead of “you’re”, as it often is in those inspirational photo memes… and don’t talk to me about apostrophes! Anyway, enjoy these 21 reasons as to why English is hard to learn.

    No wonder English is really confusing sometimes, most of us get confused on how a certain word should be use, these list will definitely make students realize how they should treat their current English subject lessons.
