Supermarket Maths: Cheeses

I did Hallowe’en last week so for Maths Weeks, I’m going to the more ordinary. This week we’re exploring cheeses of the world. Lidl have several cheeses on offer this week for some reason – I’m never really sure how they calculate that mid-October is high-cheese season! Anyway, the challenge this week is to find out which cheese offers the best value for money. For people doing data, how about making a graph of the cheeses and where they are from? You’ll also notice there are crackers for sale. How much would it cost to buy crackers and cheese slices so that every cracker got a full slice of cheese?
