Supermarket Maths: Make your Lunch

This week’s supermarket supplement maths problem comes from Lidl’s leaflets. We’re going to focus on making healthy school lunches. Here is a screenshot from their leaflets and you can see them on their website or I’m sure you can drop into your local Lidl and grab a few.

Your challenges this week are:

  1. Make the healthiest lunch you can as cheaply as possible.
  2. Make the unhealthiest lunch you can for under €5
  3. Using bread as one of your ingredients, how much would it cost to make the:
    • Cheapest sandwich
    • Most expensive sandwich
    • Tastiest sandwich
