Supermarket Maths: Thermals

With the cold weather settling in, here’s a supermarket maths challenge using thermals as the stimulus. You’ll see below that there are 3 different colours to choose from in the thermals below. There are tops for €5.99 each and bottoms for €6.99. For a set, it costs €12.98. Your challenge is to find out the number of ways you can combine the tops and bottoms, for example, light grey top and dark grey bottom is one combination. If you were to buy all of the clothes for each combination, how much would it cost for everything?thermals
